More reasons to love Wee Nam Kee!
Wee Nam Kee is always our go-to place for our lunch dates. Not only it is near to both our offices, but also they have what we consider as the best Laksa in the metro. Read our usual lunch date here.
Now, we have more reasons to visit Wee Nam Kee more often. They have added several dishes to their already-awesome menu.
Family Platter (P888) – when someone says you can’t have it all, tell that person he’s wrong as this platter has it! The platter is a well-placed combination of steamed and roasted Hainanese chicken, roast pork, barbecued pork, century egg, and seaweed. At first, we thought the seaweed is a jellyfish as they almost have the same texture.
Salt and Pepper Shrimp (P425) – if you love their salt and pepper squid, then you’ll love this shrimp version of theirs even more!
Claypot Chicken Noodles (P320) – keeping it nice and simple, this plain-looking bowl of noodles is very tasty one. Serving is okay too for the price.
Pineapple Fried Rice with Chinese Chorizo (P295) – hands down to whoever invented this recipe. We are not fond of fruits mixed in dishes but this one is definitely an exception. Plus, it’s super affordable and serving is very generous.
Grilled US Flat Iron Steak in Sweet Soy Sauce (P590) – sourced from the US and graded USDA Choice, expect a tender, juicy, and flavorful steak served in a sizzling plate drenched in sweet soy sauce with veggies on the side.
Wee Nam Kee Milk Tea (P150) – it’s our first time to try their milk tea and it’s good! Tea taste is very evident, can be parallel to Thai milk teas.
