Overall:

We have to tell you, we have fallen out of love for paluto restaurants in the metro. We think most are not maintained well and we’ve heard some negative feedbacks from our friends. Now, we are regaining that love, all thanks to Seascape Village. It’s new, very clean and refreshing, and it’s growing everyday. This 5-hectare compound is still adding different feature. Our insider info: there would be a hotel and retail area in the near future.

Sesacape Village is located beside Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel. It has lots of restaurants open now with different concepts. Think fresh seafoods, by the bay, with your lovely date with you. And oh, who wouldn’t want the breeze from the sea?

We have tried Blue Posts Boiling Crabs and Shrimps. At first glance, the restaurant looked really familiar. And to our surprise, we have tried this way back at Davao. What a small world and we’re glad to know that they have expanded here in Manila.

Fresh meats, seafoods, and chicken was the majority of the foods we’ve tried here. Of course, their special bib is very available for everyone’s use. Also, no plates and utensils here at Blue Posts as they want you to fully experience the traditional way of eating seafoods – by hand!

Shrimps in Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce (P599) – one cannot go wrong with this zesty combination of garlic, butter and lemon. We’ve enjoyed this hefty bag of shrimps and corn. So tasty and good!

Liempo (P265) – a must-order for every Filipino seafood gathering, the yang to the seafood yin. This is deadly delicious and loved. Blue Posts take on it is more on the classic side. We actually wanted more as the serving is somehow not that enough for us.

Garlic Fried Pompano (price not available) – we love having Pompano as it doesn’t have scales so the skin can be eaten without any hassle. Also, the meat is very tender and not so flaky, more of huge white chunks and no fish bones scattered all over as well. It’s so easy to eat and very filling.

Battered Chicken (P525) – winner winner, chicken dinner! Yes, they might be a seafood restaurant but they definitely isn’t giving up on serving good food, especially with this fried chicken. It’s tender, juicy, and marinated lightly that brought its natural and umami flavor.

And oh, this coming November, they have this promo that doesn’t involve a minimum order. This is the promo everyone needs! Here’s how to avail of the P1 Chicken:

That’s it! You just need to be in a group of five guys, easy peasy! No minimum order, no extra gimmicks! Below are the participating restaurants:

Just a reminder, this is only available on weekends. Schedule that group date now!

Value for money: Who wouldn’t want this? It’s worth it!
