? Date for Two: Party Boat

Still standing strong in the food park community, The Food Hive’s still winning the hearts of the north peeps by their over-the-top offerings established by local chefs aiming to make a mark. Located at the busy street of Visayas Avenue, drop by anytime if you’ve been wanting to try out different cuisines all under one roof.
The place can be found easily as it was well-lighted and packed with lots or cars in their spacious parking lot. The park is relatively small but was designed to maximize every space without looking too crowded.
Passed by The Food Hive after a long travel from our hometown, Montalban, Rizal, we were very hungry and decided to order something filling and grilled.
Party Boat (P799) – a boat of pork belly, roast chicken, rice, salted egg, tomato, ensaladand talong and atchara. Ikr, it’s a lot! We intentionally ordered this one so we can take home some for tomorrow’s meal. We took home just almost the entire chicken as we’ve savored all of the pork belly, salted egg and the veggies. The chicken was not that cooked very well so we need to have it cooked again at home. The pork belly was really good, not oily and all yet still juicy on the inside.
We had a good dinner, not that spectacular though but it was just fine. We’d still be ordering the same if given the chance to be in the area.
Value for money: Somehow worth it. Best to have the chicken cooked well done.
