Originally serving sizzling steaks and more, Holy Cow Sizzlers is joining the bandwagon of unlimited meats. Their version: no grilling! Perfect for lazy people like us who doesn’t like to cook on the spot and most especially, doesn’t want to smell like smoke after! Better, right? Don’t get us wrong, they still serve those classic sizzling steaks but they ventured with this new cool concept. And the best part, it’s only P399 per person!
They have brought the wild, wild west in the north with these unlimited meats and side dishes. We got practically everything and only refilled those we find very tasty. Everything’s very filling so ask only what you can eat. This is not a buffet set up so everything should be asked through their always-smiling and attentive staffs.
So for the side dishes, they have Coleslaw, Cheese Croquettes, Macaroni Salad, Corn & Carrots, Fries, Sweet Potato, Mashed Potato, Mojos, Buttered Veggies, and Garlic Rice. For this visit, we didn’t refill any of our side dishes because they are more than enough to fill our stomachs quite quickly. And remember, we still have the main meats to eat (all we can!).
They have five meat variants to choose from: Chicken Chinitos, Beef, Chicken Fillet, Fish Fingers, and Pork Belly. The Chicken Chinitos is very tasty we got more refills for this one. Beef is super soft and seasoned very lightly, perfect pair with the gravy. Chicken Fillet and Fish Fillet is both very tender. We were surprised by the Pork Belly as we thought this is the usual samgyupsal cut, but leaned more towards the bagnet and lechon type of cut, not too fatty and more of the lean meat.
For the sauces, we also asked for them all for us to try. They have Spicy BBQ, Pepper Corn Gravy, Soy Garlic, and Trio Mushroom Gravy. The Spicy BBQ is perfect for the Chicken Fillet. We’ve drenched the Beef with Pepper Corn Gravy and the Trio Mushroom Gravy. So good! Meanwhile, the Pork Belly is best dipped to the Soy Garlic sauce. Chicken Chinitos is a standalone one so better to not mix it with anything. The Fish Fillet comes with its own white sauce.
Value for money: Holy Cow! It’s worth it!
