?Date for Two: Lemonade, Valencia ala Malabon (Ala Mode)
Overall: In the middle of the busy highway of Katipunan lies this hidden abode waiting for you to discover. This one features homegrown dishes, mainly Malabon recipes, completing the resto’s very homey vibe. We had Tinumis (their version of Dinuguan), Lengua (which packs a very creamy sauce with lots of meat and shrooms) and Sisig (so far one of the best ones we’ve tasted in the metro, swear! Not sure if it’s in the sauce or how crunchy and tender the meats are). Serving is a lot, can feed an entire family! Lol. Definitely worth visiting and finding (since the place can be a bit hard to locate on a regular day).
Value for money: Worth it!
