We have been seeing Chi Mac Chicken & Beer for years now as we sip our hot coffee at Commune, or if we’re on our way to Lobo Filipino Tavern. This time, we have finally tried it. It’s a relatively huge dining hall, pretty clean and sleek actually, with no-fuss modern industrial interior and TV screens with K-Pop songs to dance away. The place also has one electronic dart board which can be used by any customer for only P50, inclusive of 8 games.
Chi Mac is basically a Korean restaurant sans the unlimited food. They have quite a large selection of Korean specialties ranging from chicken to tteokbokki. Name a Korean food and most probably, they have it.
We’re a fan of anything with soup so Chi Mac’s Stir-Fried Rice Cake (P290) and Jjamppongtang (P350) are on top of our favorites here. Both are not overly spicy, but are very flavorful. Serving size for both is very generous for the price. Coming back for these two babies!
Of course, their chicken should be on the spotlight as well as they have four delectable flavors to choose from: Fried Chicken (P320 for 7 pieces, P620 for 14 pieces), Sweet and Spicy Chicken (P350 for 7 pieces, P670 for 14 pieces), Soy Sauce Chicken (P350 for 7 pieces, P670 for 14 pieces), Cheese Snow Chicken (P370 for 7 pieces, P680 for 14 pieces). We personally recommend their Cheese Snow Chicken and the Sweet and Spicy Chicken.
It’s Fri-date later and we already know where to go tonight! 😉 See you!
