Cabanas Dine And Bar: A Must-Visit Tropical Stop When In Tagaytay

Awaken your Tropical State of Mind!

? Cabanas Dine and Bar – ❤️❤️❤️❤️?

? Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway, Silang Junction North, Tagaytay City

Our tropical state of mind has been awakened by Cabanas, a tropical themed restaurant standing at Tagaytay, a good and refreshing find from the usual Bulalo places we usually go to. The main dining hall will satify the minimalists. It’s sleek and clean while providing the best view of the lake. Don your summer shirts and let’s have a quick drive to Cabanas Dine and Bar.

We’re pretty sure all of you will stay here for a while, with a good ambience like this, the cherry on top is the good set of food choices they have. Check out some of them.

For starters, we’ve tried their Potato Chips (P215), Onion Rings (P175), Mozza Pops (P250), and Nachos (P199). We love all of them but the real deal here is their dipping sauce. So good!

Pancit Pusit (P239) – at first, we thought this one’s a pasta but no, it’s a glass noodle dish tossed in squid ink and veggies. This one’s a must-order on our next visit.

Bulalo Kare-Kare (P549) – the crowd favorite Kare-Kare made even better with Bagnet! What a combination.

Bagnet Laing (P289) – bagnet, on its second strike, makes everything worthwhile. This time, with laing as its base.

Tawilis Ala Gambas (P209) – little crispy tawilis drenched in oil, topped with frizzled onions. Not sure what they’re aiming for on this dish, spicy or sweet. We like it overall but we find this a bit oily.

Cabanas Chicken (P269) – greatly doing its job as a comfort food, nothing beats a good fried chicken served with a classic ketchup and soy sauce on the side.

Cabanas Bulalo (P589) – a trip to Tagaytay wouldn’t be complete without having Bulalo. Cabanas offers one of the good ones we’ve tried along the stretch of Tagaytay Highway. The meat portion served is enough for the group. Soup is very warm and hearty, served in a claypot. Rice, please?

For our desserts, we got their 4 Ways Cheesecake (P299) and Fruit Fritter (P139). The cheesecake is somehow bland for our liking. Best to order the Fruit Fritter for dessert.

After they’ve satisfied our tummies, Cabanas’ second purpose in life is to make our alcoholic hearts happy! They can whip out the coolest and tastiest cocktails in a jiffy. We’ve tried their White Sky (P199) and Stay Dry Cabanas (P199). Imagine sipping these refreshing cocktails with a view this good. This is the life.

Value for money: Worth it!
