Worth the stopover!
? Balinsasayaw – ❤️❤️❤️❤️?
? Aguinaldo Highway, Lalaan Uno, Silang, Cavite
Located across Acienda, Balinsasayaw is the perfect place for that after-shopping stopover. With its huge parking space and private cabanas for each group, the restaurant is prized for their Filipino specialties worth the drive.
They offer different kinds of Filipino dishes both with large groups and date nights can accommodate. Check out what we’ve tried at Balinsasayaw Lalaan branch.
Nilasing na Hipon (P245) – we have always heard about Nilasing na Hipon but it’s our first time to try it. We thought the dish is drenched in sauce, thus the name, but we’re wrong. It’s actually beer-battered shrimps deep-fried, and comes with a condiment for dipping. It’s crunchy and no need to peel off the shell. Eat it as it is. And did we mention this huge platter of shrimps is only around 200 pesos? It’s a steal!
Gambas (P295) – drowning in sweet and sour sauce, this gambas dish is very aromatic, the seafood is cooked perfectly, and the taste is very flavorful, sweet, savory, and tangy, all in one plate.
Pork Laing (P245) – not a fan of laing but this one can be an exception. For those who doesn’t know, Laing is a Filipino staple dish originated from Bicol Province, and is usually made with gabi leaves, coconut milk, and chili. Their version adds more flavor from pork. It’s not visually okay but tastes really good.
Bangus Sisig (P275) – a medley of bangus rinds, onions, and bell pepper, this creamy dish shouldn’t be left out on your orders. More famously know as a beer match, this one’s good for a hearty lunch, too.
Pork BBQ (P165) – always, the classic wins. This protein-packed set meal is the star of our afternoon. The meat is tender and tasty, simply just the way we always want our pork bbq to be.
Pineapple Rice (P255) – lovely to our eyes and captivated all our senses right away, this fragrant rice dish is made flavorful by none other than its base, the pineapple. We find this one very sweet though, with the pineapple taste overpowering every other flavor there is.
Fried Boneless Bangus (P395) – some might wonder why this boneless bangus is priced so hefty. With its size and taste, we say it’s worth it!
Chicken BBQ (P345) – another star of the afternoon, their Chicken BBQ is a must-order for every visit here at Balinsasayaw. The meat is very soft and flavorful. Serving is very generous as well.
Chicken Binakol (P395) – as this is just our first time trying our Chicken Binakol as far as we can remember, we cannot gauge how it is compared to others. As it is, ww can say that this didn’t fail us. The soup is tasty, more on to the sweet side because of the coconut taste. The chicken is very tender and serving size is good.
Turon de Leche (P105) – not the usual turon, this one has leche flan inside, plated together with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. Yay! Our souls are happy!
Value for money: Worth it!
